My Visit To School

Hello everyone... it was wonderful spending the morning with you all at Ysgol Cefn Meiriadog yesterday. I really enjoyed meeting everyone and having the chance to share some of my stories. Thank you for asking such well thought out questions too - you all helped make the morning fun and exciting.

I'm very happy to know that I will be visiting school again to share more stories - and not only my own - but books by other authors too. There are lots of fantastic books out there so I will be really interested to hear what you are reading and what sort of things you like to read.

You can get in touch with me by email or by leaving a comment on this page - but make sure you ask your teachers or parents for permission first. (Teachers and parents can get in touch too of course...)

All comments will be checked by my before they appear on the page so don't worry if your comment does not appear straight away.

    1. Hi Harper, that is interesting to hear. I did not expect anyone to be reading that. It makes me think that perhaps your family have a farm.
I have just read the first few pages of the book and now I think I am going to have to read it all. My wife, Vicky, is going to borrow it from the library for me. Thank you for suggesting that...

    3. Have you read Bonnie vs Monkey? From Ezra.

    4. Yes, that is a bit weird isn't it. I think you will find that there are a few other books that start in a similar way - especially with aeroplanes crashing in jungles or boats being wrecked - leaving someone on an island or in a jungle.
Doing this allows the author to write an adventure story about a child being lost in a strange and dangerous place.

    5. Hi Ezra... no, I havn't read Bonnie vs Monkey yet. I still need to go and get it from the library. I will add it to my list of 'books that people should read' which I will add to this diary very soon.

    1. Hi Harper... no, I haven't had time to read any more yet, but my wife has now brought two of them home for me to read.
I did like Barak Obama and thought that he seemed to be a good president.
I must admit, I do not pay much attention to American politics so have not really seen much of Joe Biden. I would rather not think about the other one :-)
